Andrea Alfieri nasce a Milano nel 1974. In una famiglia di professori universitari si appassiona alla cucina e vuole fare il cuoco. Durante gli studi fa la stagione estiva negli hotel di diverse località tra cui Gressoney e Cortina, mentre in inverno lavora presso il ristorante Savini e il ristorante Biffi di Milano.
Nel 1995 comincia presso il ristorante Yar di Milano come capopartita per poi diventarne executive chef, meritandosi le due forchette del Gambero Rosso. Dal 2003 al 2006 è executive chef di Mozart Banqueting con sede nella storica Villa Mozart di Milano, per poi passare come consulente all’Hotel Miramonti di Madonna di Campiglio. Fino a quando si realizza il sogno di aprire il locale “Il Sempione 42” insieme alla moglie Samantha.
Ritorna a Madonna di Campiglio a dirigere le cucine del Majestic Mountain Charme Hotel e del ristorante Majestic Gourmet. Andrea è noto anche per le sue partecipazioni televisive.
Da giugno 2016 è executive chef dell’Alpen Suite Hotel di Madonna di Campiglio e dei 3 ristoranti al suo interno: il ristorante gourmet Il Convivio, Il Bistrot e il ristorante dell’hotel, oltre ad essere chef consulant del Chiostro di Andrea a Milano.

Andrea Alfieri was born in Milan in 1974 to a family of university professors; he soon becomes passionate about cooking and wants to become a cook. During his studies, he spends the summer seasons in the hotels of various locations, including Gressoney and Cortina, while in winter he works at the Savini and at the Biffi restaurants in Milan. He starts working at the restaurant Yar in Milan in 1995, as station chef, and eventually becomes executive chef and earns the two forks recognition from Gambero Rosso. From 2003 to 2006 he is the executive chef of Mozart Banqueting, which has its historic location in Villa Mozart of Milan, he then becomes a consultant at the Hotel Miramonti in Madonna di Campiglio. He eventually consolidates his dream to open, together with his wife Samantha, the restaurant “Il Sempione 42”. He goes back to Madonna di Campiglio to run the kitchens of the Majestic Mountain Charme Hotel and of the restaurant Majestic Gourmet. Andrea is also known for his television appearances. Since June 2016 he is the executive chef of the Alpen Suite Hotel in Madonna di Campiglio and of the three restaurants inside it: the gourmet restaurant Il Convivio, Il Bistrot and the hotel’s restaurant, as well as being the chef consultant of the Chiostro di Andrea in Milan.
