Salvatore Butticè, classe 1976, è l’executive chef del Ristorante Il Moro a Monza. La passione per la buona tavola nasce in lui sin da piccolo, grazie all’esempio dato dalle figure di riferimento casalinghe, la nonna e la mamma. Per lui la tavola è condivisione del tempo, dello spazio e delle emozioni. Dal 1993 ad Agrigento contribuisce alla gestione del ristorante di famiglia. Nella sua crescita professionale segue le orme del fratello Vincenzo, di quattro anni più grande. Nel 1998 decide di specializzarsi nella ristorazione e dal 2001 inizia a fare esperienze in alcuni dei più importanti ristoranti di Porto Cervo e della Costa Smeralda.
Nel 2004 collabora con i catering del ristorante Da Vittorio di Brusaporto (BG) e del ristorante Sadler di Milano. Dal 2009 al 2014 è chef del ristorante Il Noble di Monza del gruppo Love & Passion. Nel 2015 inizia l’avventura del Ristorante Il Moro a Monza, a cui si affiancano alcuni stage presso grandi nomi della cucina italiana: nel 2017 impara dallo chef Terry Giacomello a Parma, mentre nel 2018 è al Mudec di Milano dallo chef Enrico Bartolini.

Salvatore Butticè was born in 1976. He is the executive chef of the Il Moro restaurant in Monza. The passion for good food was born in him from an early age, thanks to the example given by the house reference figures: his grandmother and his mother. For him, cuisine is sharing time, space and emotions. Since 1993 in Agrigento he has contributed to the management of the family restaurant. In his professional growth he followed in the footsteps of his brother Vincenzo, four years older. In 1998 he decided to specialize in catering and from 2001 he began to experience some of the most important restaurants in Porto Cervo and the Costa Smeralda.
In 2004 he collaborated with the catering of the Da Vittorio restaurant in Brusaporto, Bergamo, and the Sadler restaurant in Milan. From 2009 to 2014 he was the chef of Il Noble restaurant in Monza of the Love & Passion group. In 2015 he began the adventure of Il Moro restaurant in Monza, alongside some internships with great names of Italian cuisine: in 2017 he learned from chef Terry Giacomello in Parma, while in 2018 he was at Mudec in Milan with chef Enrico Bartolini.
